The Puritan Welcomes a New Fiction Editor

Our Spring 2021 issue will be Adnan Khan’s last issue with The Puritan. Adnan has been Fiction Editor since May 2020, and has brought in some outstanding pieces. We will miss having him on the team and we wish him all the very best!

With Adnan's departure, we're excited to welcome in our new Fiction Editor, Anuja Varghese. Anuja is a QWOC Pushcart-nominated writer based in Hamilton, ON. She has been a fiction reader for The Puritan for a number of years, has been published in a number of journals, and has also been longlisted for the PRISM International 2016 Short Fiction Contest, shortlisted for the Pigeon Pages 2019 Fiction Contest, and took third prize in the 2019 Alice Munro Festival Short Story Competition. We're thrilled to have her join us starting Issue 54: Summer 2021!
