A large left lump
skewing the skin like
a sickle like a stump like a
a weak spot in a balloon
The broken latex over shellac
the oil in the ocean
the come
and go
2017
was the summer
of my mother’s breasts!
Golden rays of chemo
washing
chamomile and lemon juice
The dog walker left forbidden fruit
on the kitchen island
Let her have some fun,
she said,
a bird in the hand
is a flat straight line
