The Indigenous Storytelling Issue is Here!

We are so excited to share the Indigenous Storytelling Issue of The Ex-Puritan!

This issue is guest-edited by Brandi Bird; read her foreword to the issue here.

The fiction section features "Buffalo Gothic" by EC Dorgan, "Saint Nick" by Molly Cross-Blanchard, and "Lucky Chance" by J.H. Cardinal.

This issue's hybrid/experimental pieces are "emBODY poetry" by Jessica C  Mehta and "questions to ask after an estranged departure (maybe we will talk in the spirit world)" by Gillian Joseph.

In poetry, read "My Brother, Om’ahkokata (gopher) & iniskim (buffalo calling stones)" by Henry Heavyshield, "CREE GIRL UNHARDENS HERSELF TO BECOME SOFT" by Tarene Thomas, and "Urban Sprawl" by Micah Favel.
